Retain rural memory and protect excellent traditional culture. In May this year, the Memorial Hall of Ge Yunfei’s Former Residence, a “rural museum”, successfully passed the acceptance of the first batch of rural museums in Zhejiang Province and was awarded a license. It is one of the first batch of four units in Hangzhou. Recently, the District Cultural Relics Bureau set up a self-inspection team, which went to 11 units to check and standardize the infrastructure, exhibition logic, exhibition streamline, collection quantity, collection source, guide service, daily supervision of fire protection and security of each exhibition hall according to the Guide to the Construction of Rural Museums in Zhejiang Province, so as to prepare for the on-site acceptance of the expert acceptance team of rural museums in Zhejiang Province.
“Village Museum”, as an important content of “Zhejiang literature and enjoyment”, has been included in the livelihood projects of Zhejiang provincial government and Hangzhou municipal government. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, 1,000 village museums will be built in Zhejiang province. This year, a total of 12 rural museums in our district were shortlisted, the largest in the city.
In addition to the memorial hall of Ge Yunfei’s former residence, which has passed the acceptance of the first batch of rural museums in Zhejiang Province and was awarded a license, there are 11 units waiting for acceptance in our district, including Dongsha Farming Museum, Tang Shouqian’s former residence exhibition hall, Ge Liyong’s former residence memorial hall, Lou Manwen’s memorial hall, Lou Ying’s memorial hall, Chen Duoru’s exhibition hall, Jinxiao detachment Xiaoshan memorial hall, Shen Peilan’s former residence memorial hall, Xiaoshan Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall, Air Force Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall and Xiao Zhong School History Memorial Hall.
Building a rural museum is a beneficial attempt to boost the rural revitalization model, and it is also an effective way to inherit and develop cultural tourism. Next, the District Cultural and Tourism Bureau will continuously improve the construction and operation level of rural museums, strive to become a benchmark for rural museum construction, and build a number of rural museums with profound cultural heritage into a unique landscape in the countryside.
