Hosted by the Ruian Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Tourism and Sports, and undertaken by the Ruian Museum, the “Digital Ruibo – Digital Exhibition of Calligraphy and Painting in the Museum” will be launched on January 1, 2021 in the temporary exhibition hall on the 3rd floor of the museum, and the exhibition will last for 31 days.
The digital conception of the Ryan Museum began with the first national census of movable cultural relics. According to the survey, the Ruian Museum has a collection of more than 4,000 pieces of calligraphy and painting, including Dong Qichang, Jiang Ligang, Shen Shichong, Zhang Daqian and “Three Grandsons and Five Yellows” and other local famous calligraphy and paintings. In line with the original intention of effectively protecting and utilizing the collection and making the cultural relics “come alive”, the digitization of the museum’s collection of calligraphy and painting has been put on the agenda.
In 2017, the salvage data collection project of the museum’s collection of calligraphy and paintings was launched, and by 2020, a total of 950 pieces of collection information of the museum’s collection of paintings and calligraphy were collected. In this exhibition, 110 pieces of the collection are selected, and the finished products are reproduced through special rice paper and matching color management, and the original works are compared twice, and the colors are repeatedly corrected to make them as close to the original works as possible.
