On August 25th, the 7th China Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Shandong Provincial People’s Government, opened in Jinan, Shandong Province. The theme of this year’s Expo is “Connecting Modern Life with Charming Glory”, and it is presented in three sections: exhibition, forum and performance. The event lasts until August 29th.
Shaoxing Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism actively organized national intangible representative projects, such as Shaoxing Opera, Shaoxing yellow wine brewing technology and Shengzhou bamboo weaving, and Zhejiang intangible representative project, Shaoxing soy sauce traditional brewing technology, and participated in the “Prosperous” Grand Canal Valley intangible boutique exhibition and the “Tea and the World” China tea culture theme exhibition. The intangible cultural heritage exhibition along the Grand Canal focuses on the major strategy of promoting the construction of the Grand Canal National Cultural Park, showing the vitality of intangible cultural heritage protection along the Grand Canal, promoting cultural exchanges and promoting the Grand Canal culture in the form of exhibitions, performances and experiences. The theme exhibition of tea culture focuses on excavating and explaining the importance of tea culture to the inheritance and development of Chinese civilization, focusing on showing the historical sense of tea culture and enhancing the tie role and influence of tea culture in condensing national spirit.
During the event, a number of representative inheritors of the intangible cultural heritage performed live exhibitions and performances, showing the vitality and charm of Shaoxing’s intangible cultural heritage protection and inheritance in the form of dynamic and static combination, adding a touch of “Shaoxing color” to the biennial national intangible cultural heritage event and putting on a dish of “Shaoxing flavor”.
The appearance of Shaoxing Intangible Cultural Heritage in the 7th China Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo not only showed the colorful and unique intangible cultural heritage of Shaoxing, but also enhanced the popularity of its representative projects, and provided an opportunity for the inheritors to exchange ideas, learn from each other, which helped them broaden their horizons and inspire their inspiration.
