A rain woke up Li Bai, Chang’an in spring, the willow branches are weak, the twelfth street is like a market, and the pommel horses and flowers are always dust.
A few days ago, Hangzhou Southern Song Dynasty official kiln museum “Chang’an Spring – into the “Belt and Road” in the Tang Dynasty grand exhibition opened, from Shenzhen Wangye Museum exhibited 128 pieces (sets) of Tang Dynasty exquisite artifacts are 1400 years ago capitalized beauty. In order for everyone to have a better look at the exhibition during the Qingming holiday, this newspaper invited Yan Yan, the curator of the Wangye Museum, to give you an in-depth interpretation of these “treasures”.
There are eggs?
“God, the Southern Song Dynasty Official Kiln Museum actually put all the eggs in the museum.” At first glance, many people have to wonder like this; Only when you look closely do you realize that it is really lifelike.
What is this egg for? Teacher Yan Yan said that it should be a burial vessel. Previously, Henan, Shanxi, Chongqing and other places have reported the discovery of burial eggs, and they are all Han Dynasty tombs. The Han tomb’s preference for eggs may be related to the fact that the Han Dynasty people regarded death as life, and the food they had eaten before their death, such as wine and grains, would be buried with them. After the Tang Dynasty, the funeral system was more developed, and these were made like works of art.
Are grapes precious?
Among the cultural relics on display, there are many grape patterns and shapes. For example, the silver sachet with grape flower and bird pattern and the “grape” pattern on the bottle.
Grape? Is it the grape that is 5 yuan a pound in the summer vegetable market? It’s not unusual, why do people in the Tang Dynasty like to use it to make patterns?
“That’s the point.” Yan Yan said, because grapes are foreign. How precious are grapes from more than 1,000 years ago? In the TV series “Sima Yi”, Cao Pi loves to eat grapes, once Cao Pi threw a grape to his eunuch, and the eunuch jumped up to catch it and quickly stuffed it into his mouth, which is the most authentic interpretation of history. Because 1,600 years ago, the average person may not have eaten a single grape in their lifetime.
What did the Tang Dynasty people write?
Falling flowers wander wherever they go, and laugh into the orchid restaurant.
“Today, it is probably Li Bai who went to KTV and met a Russian or Ukrainian beauty who was stationed there……” Teacher Yan Yan said, and there were many Tang Dynasty wine vessels on display, all of which had wine and stories. For example, only 72.The 8-gram glass bottle, “This is an imported product at that time, and it feels like nothing in your hand, and the weight is the same as a large dumpling.” ”
On a white clay vase, there is faint handwriting. What did the ancestors of the Tang Dynasty write? Teacher Yan Yan said, “He clearly told us that the bottle came from Tianbao for 14 years. That year, he got the bottle and wrote some recorded things, just like when we bought a new notebook, some people would write down the time of the purchase. From this bottle, it can be seen that the ancient texts do not say ‘year’, only ‘carry’. This tells us that if you see an artifact that says it was born in the fourteenth year of Tianbao, it must be nonsense. ”
Reading “Pi” in Objects
Add clean water to the white jade bowl, and the fragrance of tea is in the golden furnace. Why do utensils have obvious circular ornaments and shapes?
“These lines are all turned out of a milling machine.” Yan Yan said. Zu Chongzhi, an outstanding mathematician and astronomer during the Northern and Southern Dynasties of China, his greatest contribution is pi, and the most direct presentation of the usage of π in production is “circumcision”. “Once the circle is controlled, the image of the object changes. Copper, jade, stone, all kinds of materials can be made. Yan Yan said, “The concentric circles carved by the milling machine can be seen on this incense, which is the highest presentation of industrial technology in the Tang Dynasty.” ”
Time is like water, in a blink of an eye, it is 1400 years old since the founding of the Tang Dynasty; Thousands of years have changed and the stars have changed, and the mountains and green trees in the rippling waves of the West Lake are still like yesterday.
Material is the most straightforward expression of life, and every artifact is a book waiting for you to interpret.
