On July 16, under the guidance of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and sponsored by the Zhejiang Provincial Bureau of Cultural Heritage, was officially launched in Liangzhu Ancient City Site Park in Hangzhou.
This event was jointly held in 11 districts and cities across the province, with a total of over 800 students participating. The event focuses on major archaeological discoveries within the province, widely promotes Zhejiang’s archaeological achievements, presents Zhejiang’s million year human history, 10000 year cultural history, and 5000 year civilization history to young students, and educates and guides young people to better understand and recognize the important contributions of Zhejiang archaeology to Chinese civilization.
At 11 archaeological sites with Zhejiang identity, students followed archaeologists with archaeological task cards and used exploratory learning to connect key clues step by step, hearing those ancient “voices” together!
Chen Guangsheng, secretary of the Party Group of the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Yang Jianwu, member of the Party Group of the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and director of the Provincial Bureau of Cultural Heritage attended the event.
