The opening ceremony of the 2022 Song Yun Cultural Festival and the opening ceremony of the Southern Song Dynasty Deshou Palace Ruins Museum was officially launched
On November 18, the opening ceremony of the 2022 Song Yun Cultural Festival and the opening ceremony of the Southern Song Dynasty Deshou Palace Ruins Museum was officially launched. Liu Jie, member of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Secretary of the Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee, and Wang Gang, member of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Minister of the Propaganda Department, unveiled the plaque of the Southern Song Dynasty Deshou Palace Ruins Museum and launched the “2022 Song Yun Cultural Festival”. The theme of this year’s Song Yun Cultural Festival is “Song Yun Jinhui”, which is jointly held in conjunction with Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Shaoxing, Quzhou, Taizhou and other places in accordance with the overall idea of “global linkage, national interaction, and publicity driven”.
The 2022 Academic Symposium of the Museology Committee of the Chinese Museums Association was held in Hangzhou
Recently, under the guidance of the Chinese Museums Association and the Zhejiang Provincial Administration of Cultural Relics, sponsored by the Museology Professional Committee of the Chinese Museums Association, undertaken by the Zhejiang Provincial Museum, and co-organized by CNKI, Hangzhou Lin’an District Museum, and Hangzhou Arts and Crafts Museum, the “2022 Academic Seminar on ‘Improving the Quality of Small and Medium-sized Museums and Revitalizing Grassroots Museum Resources’ of the Museology Professional Committee of the Chinese Museums Association” was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The seminar comprehensively discussed the concept, development status and promotion strategies of small and medium-sized museums and grassroots museums, so as to provide academic support for the development of small and medium-sized museums in the future.
Ningbo hosted the 2022 International Day against Illicit Trafficking of Cultural Property in China
On November 14, the 2022 “International Day for Combating Illicit Trafficking of Cultural Property” China Main Forum, hosted by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage and organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Administration of Cultural Heritage, the China Cultural Heritage Exchange Center and the Ningbo Municipal Administration of Cultural Heritage, was held online in the form of video conference. Heads from UNESCO, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, the Anti-Smuggling Bureau of the General Administration of Customs, the Supreme People’s Court, the Ministry of Public Security, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, the Zhejiang Provincial Administration of Cultural Heritage, the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Cultural Heritage, experts from the legal and museum circles, as well as representatives of auction companies and young students attended the forum.
“Return and Protection: Zhejiang Province Achievements in Combating Illegal Trafficking of Cultural Property” was held in Ningbo
On November 15th, the “Return and Guardian – Zhejiang Province Achievements in Combating Illegal Trafficking of Cultural Property” was launched in the East Special Exhibition Hall on the first floor of Ningbo Museum, focusing on the exhibition of more than 400 pieces (groups) of cultural relics confiscated by the customs received by Zhejiang Provincial Museum, Zhejiang Natural Museum, Ningbo Museum and other state-owned museums. According to incomplete statistics, since 2012, Hangzhou and Ningbo Customs, with the approval of the General Administration of Customs and the designation of the Zhejiang Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics, have handed over confiscated cultural relics to Zhejiang Provincial Museum, Zhejiang Natural Museum, Ningbo Museum and other state-owned museums 10 times, with a total of nearly 2,000 cultural relics transferred.
The “Archaeological Excavation Report of Caowan Mountain Site” was released
Recently, the launch ceremony of the ancient culture of East Asia, the archaeological excavation report of Caowan Mountain Site and the academic seminar on the source of Dongou culture kicked off in Wenzhou Museum. The “Archaeological Excavation Report of Caowan Mountain Site” was first released at the scene, unveiling the mystery of Wenzhou’s prehistoric culture. Zheng Jianhua, deputy director of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Heritage Bureau, Zhu Yunhua, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of Wenzhou Cultural Relics Bureau, and other leaders attended the launch ceremony.
Wenzhou International Fashion Culture Industry Expo was held
From November 18th to 21st, the Wenzhou International Fashion Cultural Industry Expo will be held in Wenzhou Longwan Olympic Sports Exhibition Center, jointly sponsored by the Wenzhou Municipal People’s Government, Zhejiang Cultural Industry Promotion Association and China Arts and Crafts Society, and undertaken by the Propaganda Department of the Wenzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China. Wenzhou Museum, as a landmark cultural platform with historical heritage and humanistic connotation, will also be unveiled at this exhibition to share the latest cultural achievements and share this cultural feast with the general public.
About 300 pieces of cultural relics were unearthed at the Xiaoqiaotou site of the Chuming site in Deqing, Huzhou
Recently, the excavation of the fourth site of the Zhongchuming site in Yangdun Village, Leidian Town, Deqing County, Huzhou City, – Xiaoqiaotou site has been completed. The excavation of this site began in March this year, and the current excavation area reaches 2,000 square meters, and about 300 pieces of jade, pottery, stone tools and so on have been unearthed. It is understood that from the point of view of production scale, the ruins of the jade-making workshop in the early Ming Dynasty are the largest jade-making workshop ruins in the Liangzhu period found in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River so far.
