The Common Prosperity Project of Aquaculture Base in Yanting Town, Cangnan County is located at Liuwan Wharf in Yanting Town. It is one of the provincial-level comprehensive pilot projects for rural revitalization in 2022 and a key project for Cangnan County to create a demonstration sample of “common prosperity”. The total planned land area is 14645 square meters, which will be implemented in two phases. The first phase will cover an area of 1628 square meters with a plot ratio of 0.68, and the main construction content will include an experiential restaurant; Phase II land covers 13017 square meters with a plot ratio of 0.8. After the project is completed, the profits will be used in accordance with the agreed proportion to assist low-income farmers, promote the development of village collective economy, and accurately implement “expanding the middle and reducing the low”.
The project proposes the concept of standardized aquaculture factory buildings and introduces “apartment style” aquaculture technology. This technology adopts an indoor seawater circulation artificial aquaculture system, simulates artificial caves based on the biological habits of crabs, puts crabs into boxes for aquaculture, and is equipped with complete sewage systems, UV sterilizers, temperature control equipment and other facilities. The crabs grown in the natural state have better quality and a survival rate of over 90%, It will effectively drive the modernization and large-scale development of Yanting’s aquaculture industry.
As a project constructed within a tourist attraction, the Yanting Town Aquaculture Base Common Prosperity Project is a highly integrated rural revitalization project that integrates economy, environment, and ecology. It is also a promotional window for building the Yanting swimming crab brand. The Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Cangnan County has put forward constructive suggestions based on the characteristics of the plan, including site traffic organization, building facades, cultural creation, roof greening, and landscape themes.
