On September 15, the Hangzhou Asian Organizing Committee issued letters of appointment. Twelve business backbones from the State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company were recruited as the first batch of “zero carbon” engineers for the Asian Games. “Zero Carbon” engineers will provide professional services for the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, such as safety inspection, efficiency evaluation, energy-saving transformation and smart energy monitoring of venue electricity.
These “zero carbon” engineers will mainly guarantee the zero carbon of electricity for the Asian Games. Specifically, the “zero carbon” engineers will provide 13 professional services in three categories, including the construction of zero carbon transport supporting facilities, zero carbon smart energy venues, and green power trading in the event venues, for the 12 super and first level venues of the Hangzhou Asian Games.
Building a “zero carbon” smart energy Asian Games venue is an important goal of “zero carbon” engineers. “The characteristics of our team are to make good use of information technology and digital and intellectual means.” Ni Xuan, who received the appointment letter of “zero carbon” engineer, will be responsible for docking the carbon reduction services of tennis center, natatorium, Asian Games Village and other venues of Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center.
How to find out the “family background” of carbon emissions of these venues and supporting facilities and issue a reasonable “carbon reduction diagnosis”? On the day of taking up his post, Ni Xuan came to the Asian Games Village and presented a “carbon reduction diagnosis” and a “carbon sheet”. These diagnoses are based on the “dual carbon brain” first developed by State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company.
“We use the ‘dual carbon brain’ ‘photovoltaic subdivision’ to carry out photovoltaic potential assessment and planning in the venue area, provide personalized photovoltaic scheme design, increase the proportion of clean electricity, and promote the zero carbon action of the Asian Games. Previously, through the ‘dual carbon brain’ analysis, we proposed to build a 140 kilowatt distributed photovoltaic power station in the neighborhood center of the Asian Games Village, which will reduce carbon emissions by about 73.4 per year Tons. ” Ni said.
“Zero carbon” engineers will also vigorously promote more green energy-saving new technologies. Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Tennis Center contains many high-tech elements. The monitoring system is used for the operation of venue facilities and equipment to control the energy conservation of boiler pumps, lighting, air conditioners and other equipment. Intelligent lighting systems can be operated through the flat panel.
