Yan Jun and his party focused on visiting Dongtangdian in Xincheng Street, a demonstration site of folk beliefs in Rui ‘an City, and listened to the introduction of Dongtangdian’s historical origin, standardized management, two-dimensional code informationization, registration, certification and licensing, and fully affirmed the achievements and experience of standardized management of Dongtangdian, and thought it was worth learning and learning.
It is reported that the Dongtang Temple in Xincheng Street of Rui ‘an City was built in the second year of Tang Dynasty (AD 669), and its scale gradually expanded during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. At present, the site covers an area of 1,960.27 square meters and a construction area of 1,575.64 square meters. Shencheng Temple Fair, centered on Dongtangdian, began in the Northern Song Dynasty and has a history of thousands of years. After reasonable guidance and support, it has been passed down and carried forward, and now it has become one of the largest folk activities of temple fairs in Wenzhou, and has been listed in the Wenzhou municipal intangible cultural heritage list. In 2015, the site was listed in the list of the first batch of Class A standardized management places for folk beliefs in Rui ‘an City. After strict examination and acceptance, the registration number of Zhejiang Religious Affairs Committee was issued and awarded, which played a leading role in the standardized management of folk beliefs in Rui ‘an, Wenzhou and even Zhejiang Province.
