In order to conscientiously implement the spirit of the Central Ethnic Work Conference, further improve the communication and integration of ethnic groups, and maintain social harmony and stability, Zhang Dezhou, director of Yongjia County Religious Affairs Bureau, led a team to investigate the service management of urban minority floating population in Oubei Street from November 5 to 7. The leaders of all departments accompanied the investigation.
The research team visited barbecue shops, service centers for ethnic minorities, communities, related enterprises and other units successively, and went deep into the ethnic minority people to chat about their family and work, and got a comprehensive understanding of the production and life, business conditions and rights protection of the migrant workers in Laiyong. The research team fully affirmed the service management of the ethnic minority population in Oubei Street.
Zhang Dezhou pointed out that towns (streets) should further strengthen service management, help solve the reasonable demands and practical difficulties of ethnic minorities who come to Oubei for business and work, and do ideological guidance, humanistic care and follow-up assistance to the people in need. It is necessary to strengthen the training of the national common language, guide the foreign minority people to learn and speak Mandarin, improve their communication skills with local people, and better integrate into urban life. It is necessary to be tangible and effective, pay close attention to all the work of service management, so that the masses of all ethnic groups can continuously strengthen the “five identities”, cast a solid sense of the Chinese nation community, and create a good atmosphere of national unity and social harmony with practical actions.
