A few days ago, Wu Weihong, member of the Standing Committee of Shaoxing Ke Cheng District Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, led a team to Xinxin Street, where the floating population of foreign ethnic minorities is concentrated, to investigate urban ethnic work. Accompanied by the district religious affairs bureau and the main leaders of the street.
The research team first went to the 37th Station of Xinxin Street, the emergency fire station in front of the Garden and Pomegranate Red Home to carry out field research, and fully affirmed the work of urban integration, governance and sharing of foreign ethnic minorities and new employment groups under the leadership of Party building in Xinxin Street. At the subsequent symposium, the relevant responsible persons of street, public security, comprehensive law enforcement, market supervision, education, community and other units and representatives of ethnic minorities exchanged speeches on doing a good job in urban ethnic work.
After listening to the report of the relevant person in charge, Wu Weihong put forward opinions and suggestions on further improving the service management of the floating population of foreign ethnic minorities. The first is to improve the household information file. We have conducted a comprehensive survey of the number, distribution and employment status of the floating population of ethnic minorities in the past, grasped the basic base of foreign ethnic minorities, and further understood their working and living conditions. The second is to complete the team formation. All communities set up the Lianxin service group with the backbone of the people’s Sect, public security police station, market supervision, comprehensive law enforcement, education, community and other units as members, issue the Lianxin service card, and establish contact and provide services with foreign ethnic minority households inside and outside the jurisdiction. The third is to speed up the construction of positions. Relying on “Neighbourhood Exchange”, we will integrate 37 stations, Neighbourhood Exchange living room and emergency fire station to build a “pomegranate red home”, and comprehensively carry out activities such as publicity and education, entrepreneurship and employment, charity, friendship and friendship, cultural activities and conflict resolution. The fourth is to strengthen the linkage between the two places. We will make every effort to promote the “three plans” and establish a cross-regional linkage and cooperation mechanism with the floating population of foreign ethnic minorities. Each village (agency) in the two places will have a liaison person to contact regularly, exchange family information between the two places and cooperate with each other to solve problems.
