The largest naked-eye 3D cultural relic in the Forbidden City was first exhibited at Shenzhen Maritime World Culture and Art Center on the 18th. On the same day, the “tattoo” opened to the public carried the road-Tencent Immersive Digital Experience Exhibition in the Forbidden City, and also included the first offline digital restoration exhibition of the Forbidden City “Tired Qin Zhai”, which helped the protection and inheritance of traditional culture in a digital way.
At the experience exhibition site, 5.The 3-meter-high naked-eye 3D cultural relics are magnified in 22 times high definition, and the precious achievements of the Digital Forbidden City are presented, and the details that cannot be felt in the physical exhibition are experienced.
According to reports, in July 2016, the Palace Museum cooperated with Tencent. The two sides jointly promote the deep integration of traditional culture and digital creativity, and help excellent traditional culture “live” by means of games, animation, music and short videos. In September 2019, as the Forbidden City is approaching its 600th anniversary, the two sides officially announced that they will continue to deepen cooperation in the next three years, focusing on scientific and technological academic innovation, and help build a digital Forbidden City facing the next 600 years through “digitalization+cloudization +AI”.
The Palace Museum, founded in 1925, is a national comprehensive museum based on the palace buildings and their collections in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Tired Qin Zhai, located at the northernmost part of Ningshou Palace Garden in the Forbidden City, was a residence specially built by Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty after his return to politics. At the scene of the first offline digital restoration exhibition of “Tired Qin Zhai”, the giant screen sees through the panoramic painting, feels Qianlong’s “Jiangnan Dream” at a very close distance, and looks at the century-old stage through AR, and there are hidden mysterious three-dimensional eggs.

The experience exhibition also carefully created 10 annual time-limited punching points: approaching the red wall of the Forbidden City and feeling the beautiful scenery of the four seasons of the Forbidden City; Leave an exclusive streamer image through the window pattern of the Forbidden City.
Patterns reflect the wisdom and aesthetics of the ancient oriental civilization, and hide the code to interpret Chinese excellent traditional culture. At the experience exhibition site, the audience chooses their favorite cultural relics and feels the gorgeous pattern changes presented through digital technology.
This experience exhibition is divided into splendid world, colorful, natural “pattern” method, clever thinking into “pattern”, pattern window shadowing, dreamy Jiangnan, auspicious patterns and so on.
Among them, in the Qiaosicheng “pattern” exhibition area, high-precision three-dimensional data presents the details of the pattern and the whole picture of the utensils, bringing a richer visual experience. Taking patterns as clues, nearly 600 precious cultural relics in the Forbidden City are connected in series, which shows the rich creativity and infinite ingenuity of ancient craftsmen.
