On February 17th, Zhang Qianjiang, a member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Commerce, went to Zhejiang Shupu International Cultural Research Institute for research and had a discussion with the Chairman and Executive Dean of the Institute, with the participation of the Regulations Department. The work approach for the year is to leverage research expertise and conduct research on traditional culture. The second is to explore excellent cultural industries and products, and participate in international exhibitions and exhibitions. The third is to release cultural and artistic development reports and participate in the formulation of standards. Fourth, cooperate with globally renowned universities to carry out academic exchanges between China and foreign countries. Fifth, continue to carry out calligraphy and painting training and exchange in the business system, and hold a provincial business system calligraphy and painting exhibition every year.
Deputy Director Zhang Qianjiang affirmed the work ideas of the research institute in 2022, stating that the establishment of the research institute is a response to the development of business work, and the Provincial Department of Commerce will provide strong support. He pointed out that Zhejiang is at the forefront of the country in terms of foreign trade, exchange, and exhibition, but there is still great room for development in cultural trade, especially in the international export of traditional culture such as calligraphy and painting. After the establishment of the research institute, it should fully leverage its own advantages, continuously strengthen the “going global” work of traditional culture, combine the advantages of the developed commercial internet model in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, and do a good job in cultural trade, become an interactive platform for cultural exchange and cultural creative products, and make practical contributions to the going global of Chinese culture. He finally stated that the business system calligraphy and painting training should be adhered to and expanded, relevant promotional exhibitions should be normalized, corresponding groups should be established within the department, and corresponding liaison points should be established in each city to continuously enrich the cultural life of the entire province’s business system.
