Sponsored by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce and Provincial Department of Agriculture, co-organized by Ningbo Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau and Ningbo Trade Bureau, and undertaken by Zhejiang Chain Store & Franchise Association, as one of the important activities of the 13th China Zhejiang Investment and Trade Fair, the matchmaking fair for production and marketing of large supermarkets and transnational procurement was held in Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center on the afternoon of June 9. Inspector Ju Yalian of the Provincial Department of Commerce attended and delivered a speech. Feng Yihe, deputy director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture, Lin Shengjun, deputy director of Ningbo Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau, Wu Shengfu, deputy director of Ningbo Trade Bureau, relevant leaders of commercial and agricultural departments of various cities, more than 150 purchasing managers of more than 80 purchasing enterprises and more than 100 production enterprises participated in the docking negotiation activities, which was a complete success.
The manufacturers participating in the matchmaking fair include exhibitors from Zhejiang Fair (Consumer Expo) and manufacturers of consumer goods and agricultural products from the province. Buyers include Wal-Mart, RT Mart, Tesco, Auchan, CR Vanguard and other large foreign-funded supermarket chains, as well as leading enterprises in urban and rural supermarket chains in the province, such as Lianhua Huashang, Zhejiang Supply and Marketing Supermarket, People-oriented Supermarket, Jiangnan Building and Zhejiang Dongxing Commercial Building. Through this activity, the production and marketing of consumer goods, agricultural products production enterprises and chain supermarkets were promoted, the scope of agricultural supermarket docking and industrial supermarket docking was further expanded, the circulation links were reduced and the circulation efficiency was improved. At the fair, a number of cooperation intentions were reached, and the “Production and Marketing Docking Manual” was issued, which will have a follow-up effect.
