On the morning of September 17th, the publicity and promotion activity of “Traveling to Shaoxing with Tang Poems” sponsored by Shaoxing Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism – “Follow Tang Poems to Shaoxing” was officially launched in Shaoxing Lanting Scenic Area, and more than 30 representatives of more than 10 national mainstream media units, including CCTV, Xinhuanet, People’s Net, China News Agency, Phoenix Net, China Daily, China Culture News, China Tourism News, Zhejiang TV, and Urban Express, were invited to participate in the event.
He Junjie, Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio and Tourism, attended the launching ceremony and delivered a speech. He said that Shaoxing, as a famous historical and cultural city and the cultural capital of East Asia, is focusing on “cultural inheritance and revitalization”, and the road of Tang poetry is the most important of them. Choosing Lanting to start the journey of Shaoxing Tang poetry has profound meaning. As an important cultural symbol of Shaoxing, Lanting has left the “Jin and Tang Dynasty heart seal” for future generations, and also left the feeling of “looking at the present in the future, and looking at the past today”. The power of culture begins with literature, from poetry, from the Lanting. It is expected that through a relaxed, immersive and free form, national media reporters will enter the Shaoxing Shilu culture, highlighting the strong vitality and charm of Shaoxing culture.
It is worth noting that at the media gathering symposium and Shaoxing Cultural Tourism Signing Ceremony of “Enjoy the Poetry Road Style and Taste the Poetry of Shaoxing” held in Keqiao on the 18th, the representatives of the national news media who participated in the collection shared the gains and feelings of the trip, and offered suggestions for the construction of the Shaoxing Shilu Cultural Belt and the high-quality development of culture and tourism. The two-day publicity and promotion activities included the Shaoxing style collection activity on the road of Tang poetry, the work seminar of national news media representatives, the signing of Shaoxing cultural tourism image IP release, and the food promotion meeting of the road of Tang poetry. From the 17th to the 18th, the wind collection group composed of the national mainstream media visited the well-known scenic spots in various counties and urban areas of Shaoxing, Lanting Scenic Area, Fushan, Dayu Tomb, Yue Opera Town, Dongshan Scenic Area, Guazhu Lake and other well-known scenic spots in various districts and counties (cities) of Shaoxing, to experience Shaoxing’s unique natural landscapes and profound cultural heritage.
