In order to effectively ensure the safety of people’s lives and property, on April 18, the Longwan District Civil and Religious Affairs Bureau and the District Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development jointly carried out building safety hazard investigation on religious sites identified as dangerous houses within the jurisdiction.
Longwan District Civil and Religious Affairs Bureau attaches great importance to the investigation of building safety hazards in the field of religion (folk belief). It has carried out many communications and consultations with the District Housing and Construction Bureau and the District Finance Bureau in the early stage, scientifically formulated the investigation work plan, refined the work responsibilities, and defined the time schedule. For the classified renovation of dangerous buildings, the “one house, one policy” hazard relief plan for demolition or reinforcement shall be scientifically and reasonably formulated, and the responsible person, hazard relief method and time requirements shall be specified. Urge the street to demolish the dangerous houses that are neither reinforced and repaired nor demolished in time within one month. If the situation is serious, the person in charge of the site will be held responsible according to the actual situation. Up to now, “four measures” have been implemented for places that are difficult to be removed or reinforced in a short time (setting warning signs, water cut-off, power failure and blocking doors and windows).
On April 18, the inspection team carried out a hidden danger inspection on the religious sites identified as dangerous houses, checked and reviewed the safety of walls, beams and columns, foundations, roofs, floors, fire and electricity, and inquired in detail about the implementation of funds, rectification plans, completion time and other specific conditions of the local street governance and repair. The person in charge of religious places is required to raise awareness and implement the fire protection responsibility, especially to strengthen the safety production management, standardize the operation, ensure the construction safety, ensure the smooth repair of the reinforced dangerous houses, and completely eliminate the safety hazards of the places.
At present, the repair and reinforcement of dangerous houses in religious places in the jurisdiction is in progress in an orderly manner. The next step will continue to accelerate the progress of renovation work, ensure that various building safety renovation measures are implemented in place, and fully maintain the security and stability of the religious field.
