The exhibition of the “Prosperous Revision of the Classics – ‘The Great Series of Chinese Paintings of the Past Dynasties'” was exhibited at the National Museum of China, which was a major event in the Chinese art and cultural circles. “The Great Collection of Chinese Paintings of the Past Dynasties” inherits the thousand-year-old historical context and reproduces the charm of the brush and ink through the ages, and is the most complete collection of fine works and the largest publication of Chinese painting image documents in similar publications so far, and is the culmination of the protection, excavation and utilization of ancient Chinese paintings, as well as a major landmark cultural achievement with Chinese characteristics, Chinese charm and Chinese style in the new era.

The convergence of so many traditional Chinese paintings has opened a way for us to re-understand “tradition”. By giving full play to the advantages of efficient and convenient digital communication, the conceptual “tradition” is transformed into tangible and serialized aesthetic objects, which truly realizes the display of excellent traditional Chinese culture in the form of aesthetic education, promotes the spirit of Chinese aesthetics, and improves the aesthetic literacy of the whole people.
It is necessary to continue to play an important role in the inheritance and development of excellent traditional Chinese culture, the protection and utilization of cultural heritage, the improvement of the aesthetic literacy of the whole people and the promotion of common prosperity in spiritual life, so as to move towards a new journey, devote themselves to new practices and show new achievements with a more high-spirited attitude, and make new and greater contributions to creating a new glory of socialist culture and building a socialist cultural power.
