Recently, Liang Huajie, a full-time researcher at Yangtze River Delta Research Institute (Huzhou) of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, published a paper in the top international academic journal Nature-Photonics as the co-first author. It is reported that the research institute has been established in Huzhou for less than a year, and has gathered more than 40 high-level talent teams, and published research results in international heavyweight journals for 33 times.
In recent years, Huzhou City has thoroughly implemented the strategy of strengthening the city with talents, innovating and strengthening the city as the first place, and launched the introduction plan of “famous schools, famous schools and famous enterprises” to vigorously promote the construction of famous schools and colleges, providing a strong carrier support for talents to innovate and start businesses in Lake. In July this year, Huzhou City issued the “Ten Lakes”, which once again increased its support for the innovation platform. The document clearly speeds up the construction of major science and technology innovation platforms, vigorously implements the “Five Grains” plan, promotes the development of the research institute economy, and provides millions of square meters of innovation space to introduce international and domestic research institutes. Support the construction of provincial laboratories, state key laboratories, municipal laboratories, national manufacturing innovation centers, provincial technological innovation centers and other major innovation carriers, with a maximum reward of 10 million yuan for a single project.
With the implementation of the introduction plan of “prestigious universities and famous enterprises”, a large number of high-energy innovation platforms, such as Yangtze River Delta Research Institute of Electronic Science and Technology University, Huzhou Research Institute of Zhejiang University, Taihu Laboratory, Alpha Innovation Research Institute of Deqing of China University of Science and Technology, and AI Base of Zhijiang Laboratory, have settled in Huzhou, and the effectiveness of attracting talents and gathering talents has gradually emerged. In recent years, 812 talents of various types have been introduced through scientific research institutes, 86 new technologies or new processes have been developed, and 202 scientific and technological enterprises have been incubated and introduced.
In order to boost the development of colleges and universities in Huzhou, Huzhou has also innovated the joint talent introduction mechanism between local and colleges and universities in Huzhou, implemented the “Southern Taihu Scholars” introduction plan, and introduced talents through the dual employment of Huzhou employers and universities, with a maximum reward of 8 million yuan.
