The “Qi’an Hong” black tea comes from the old tea garden of Zhoushan She Minority Township in Wencheng County, covering an area of more than 800 mu. The tea tree varieties are the original species of Jiukeng planted in the 1960s.
The township is located at an altitude of more than 500 meters, year-round clouds and mist, abundant rain, fertile soil, excellent ecological environment, very suitable for the growth of old tea trees.
Most tea trees are naturally grown and relatively extensive.
In order to promote the development and utilization of local old tea gardens and promote the increase of income of local tea farmers, since being Heyuan in November 2019, it has carried out in-depth local tea industry research, and discussed the development direction of old tea gardens with tea farmers and the township government.
After analyzing the characteristics and quality advantages of making black tea in tea garden base, the development plan of developing “Qi’an black tea” was determined.

In order to further comprehensively optimize the management level and tea making technology, in March this year, the “Qi’an Tea Garden” identification standard was compiled and drafted, and was released recently.

In February 2023, with jiang Heyuan Science and Technology correspondent, China Tea Science and Technology Institute signed the “co-enriching and assisting agricultural project” agreement on fresh leaf raw material standard, fermentation technology, baking technology and processing process optimization.
In April 2023, he was once again hired as a consultant by Wencheng County Tea Culture Research Association.
