“Into the Blue, Exploring the Deep Sea – Ocean Knowledge Science Exhibition” on September 15 The ocean is the largest geographical unit of the earth, vast and rich, deep and mysterious, carrying the hope of human survival and development. In the 21st century, countries around the world have turned their attention to the ocean, regarding it as a new space for sustainable development of mankind, and “developing the ocean, using the ocean, and protecting the ocean” has become a global consensus. The exhibition is divided into units such as “Blue Planet” and “Exploring the Deep Sea”, which not only introduces the relevant scientific knowledge about the origin of life, sea and land changes, marine resources, navigation exploration, etc., but also reveals the current situation of the ocean that has been seriously damaged due to unreasonable human activities, awakens people’s awareness of ecological protection, and calls on everyone to act together to protect this piece of blue. Zhejiang Museum of Natural History specially exhibited more than 20 marine-related exhibits for this exhibition, such as hammerhead shark specimens, tools and supplies for human exploration of the deep sea, marine fish resources, etc. The exhibition will last until October 15.
