From April 16th to 20th, sponsored by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, undertaken by the Chinese Academy of Cultural Heritage, and co-organized by the Hubei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism (Cultural Relics Bureau), the training course for the heads of the national archaeological site park management institutions was held in Wuhan, Hubei.
The training course was carried out in a combination of theoretical teaching, case sharing, exchange and discussion and on-site research, and invited 10 experts and scholars from universities and scientific research institutions, as well as the heads of exemplary national archaeological site park management institutions to give lectures on key issues such as macro strategy, territorial spatial planning convergence, archaeological research, display and interpretation, safety precautions, standardized management, and operation innovation in the development of national archaeological site parks. About 60 responsible comrades from the fourth batch of national archaeological site parks and project units participated in the training.
During the training, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage carried out in-depth exchanges with teachers and student representatives on the strategic planning and research of the national archaeological site park, archaeological research, management system innovation, etc., listened to work opinions and suggestions, and better served the reform and development of the national archaeological site park.
