On the morning of November 17th, in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, the 40th anniversary of the establishment of friendly provinces and counties between Zhejiang and Shizuoka, and to warm up the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou in 2022, a series of cultural and travel exchange activities of “Poetry and Painting in Zhejiang, Heart About Mount Fuji” sponsored by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and co-operated by Shizuoka Prefecture were officially launched in Shizuoka City.

Chu Ziyu, director of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, said in a video speech that Zhejiang and Shizuoka have been close friends for many years, and the two sides have carried out close cooperation in various fields such as culture and economy for many years, which is regarded as a model of local friendship between China and Japan. Chu Ziyu sincerely invites more Japanese friends to visit Zhejiang to see the unique charm of poetry and painting.

The two sides exchanged gifts to commemorate the profound friendship between Zhejiang and Nanjing over the past 40 years.
