Cultural relics safety accidents are in a prone and frequent period. In order to supervise the local authorities to further strengthen their responsibility for cultural relic safety, strengthen safety precautions, and effectively curb the occurrence of major cultural relic safety accidents, Yang Jianwu, a member of the Party Group of the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Director of the Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau, and other leaders led a special inspection team to carry out cultural relic safety production work.

On April 29th, Yang Jianwu, the director of the Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics, led a team to carry out a special inspection on the safety production of cultural relics in Yuyao City. The inspection team focused on the safety status of cultural relics, daily safety management, and the configuration and operation of fire-fighting facilities and equipment, and conducted on-site inspections of 7 cultural heritage units, including the former site of the Zhejiang East Anti Japanese Base, the Wugui Tower, and Chengzhi Village. From the inspection results, it can be seen that the overall safety status of cultural relics is good, and the safety management work is in place. Visits to cultural and museum venues that are open to the public are in good order.
Director Yang Jianwu emphasized the need to further tighten the safety production and control measures for cultural relics, strictly follow the relevant work requirements of the provincial party committee and government, carry out in-depth investigation and rectification of cultural relics safety hazards, timely prevent and resolve major cultural relics safety risks, and make every effort to do a good job in the safety management of cultural relics and museums during the May Day period.

Recently, the Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau has also organized a silver shield inspection team to carry out cultural relic safety supervision and inspection in the Lishui area. The supervisor provided feedback on the identified issues, proposed rectification suggestions, and provided guidance on how to strengthen the foundation of cultural relic safety work, improve the cultural relic safety prevention system, and enhance the awareness and emergency response ability of safety management personnel.
