From January to September this year, the R&D expenses of 17 traditional manufacturing industries increased by 19% year-on-year.9%, higher than the provincial industrial scale of 0.9 percentage points, maintaining a growth trend that has been consistently faster than that of the province’s above designated industries since 2017.

At present, there are over 8500 high-tech enterprises in the traditional manufacturing industry, contributing over 40% of output value, 50% of added value, and 60% of profits. The level of high-tech development has significantly improved.
Empowered by the digital economy, the development resilience of Zhejiang’s traditional manufacturing industry has further strengthened. From January to September this year, the proportion of Zhejiang’s traditional manufacturing industry’s total profit to industrial profits above designated size increased from 59%.Increase from 3% to over 60%.
