Recently, Changshan Open College, together with members of the expert group of Zhejiang Open University Institute of Future Rural Development and Governance, carried out research activities on the business environment and talent environment in Changshan County, and officially started the work of the doctoral service group. Talking about Changshan talent policy in recent two years, four experts, including distinguished professor of Zhejiang Open University, Professor Shen Feiwei of School of Public Administration of Hangzhou Normal University, and Wu Lezhen, executive deputy director and associate professor of Institute of Future Rural Development and Governance of Zhejiang Open University, were full of praise.
In recent years, Changshan Open College has seized the opportunity of strategic cooperation between the county government and Zhejiang Open University, and cooperated with Zhejiang Open University in all aspects. In order to further improve the quality of the construction of talented teachers, the first “Doctor Service Group Workstation” at the county and city level in Quzhou area was established on May 25th this year. The establishment of the workstation aims to vigorously promote the professional development of teachers, enlarge and strengthen the scale of key talents, support and cultivate young talents, and continuously improve the overall level of teaching, scientific research and teachers in the college.
On the day of the investigation, members of the expert group visited Changfa Cereals and Oils, Wangu Science and Technology, and Lian Long Kerun New Materials on the spot, and then held a symposium to have in-depth exchanges with the heads of the county talent office, human resources and social security bureau, business office, rural revitalization bureau and other departments to learn more about the business environment and talent environment in our county, find out the problems and bottlenecks faced, and provide policy suggestions for improvement and optimization for relevant departments.
It is understood that pairs of teachers from Changshan Open College participated in the research work of this doctoral service group. Liu Yuliang, dean of the college, said that the establishment of the doctoral service group workstation in the school also hopes to use the strength of colleges and universities to play a think tank role for the central work decision of the county party Committee and county government. A teacher who participated in this research activity said that the professors of the doctoral service group have broad vision and advanced ideas, which is also very enlightening for their future research on strengthening education and teaching practice.
