At the launching ceremony, the list of the first batch of provincial rural museums was announced in 2023, and the “Rural Museum Map” of Zhejiang was launched.
It is reported that the “Online Map of Rural Museums” applet integrates functions such as positioning, punching and navigation, covering four major sections: tour, exhibition, activities and scenery, as well as full-platform full-retrieval service. It is connected with the map navigation system in series with rural museums, tourist attractions, restaurants and hotels, etc., to provide assistance for tourists’ rural museum tourism.
At the scene, the “Treasure of the Top 100 Town Museums” was released in the provincial museum. The volume of Fuchun Shan Jutu (The Remaining Mountain Map) of Huang Gongwang in Yuan Dynasty in Zhejiang Museum, the South China Tiger specimen in Zhejiang Natural Museum, the Enzejin of Han and Jin Dynasties in China Silk Museum, the Warring States Crystal Cup in Hangzhou Museum, the Red Boat in Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall and the communist party Declaration translated by Chen Wangdao in 1920 are all listed.
Ten excellent routes of museum research and study tours, including prehistoric culture, celadon culture, red culture and book collection culture, were released, and the publication of relevant lists provided an official strategy for punching in museums for travel, exhibition viewing and research in popular museums.
This year, the theme of International Museum Day is “Museums, Sustainability and Good Life”. In Yang Jianwu’s view, sustainability refers to the vitality of the museum, and a better life emphasizes the force and influence of the museum. The release of this series of selection results is the embodiment of the museum to enhance cultural self-confidence, empower a better life and help rural revitalization.
How to build each museum into a high-quality, temperature-sensitive and distinctive cultural hall, spiritual home and happiness post?

Yang Jianwu, member of the party group of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and director of the Zhejiang Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics, spoke for the Zhejiang Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics.
He believes that in order to attract more people into museums through meticulous, accurate and meticulous services, wenbo people should constantly innovate and change, and promote the interaction between museums and education, marriage with science and technology, grafting with creativity and integration with tourism.
“Museums should not only shoulder the responsibility of protecting and inheriting history and culture, but also record the present and look forward to the future, becoming a platform for examining traditions, reflecting on today and enlightening the future.” He said that the museum should not only let people be in the “activated” historical scene, but also get the enlightenment of “where to come from and where to go”. Only when a museum has strong vitality can it play a big role and win its influence, and only by continuously expanding its influence and force can it have the vitality of sustainable development.
