From February 14th to February 17th, the Guanyun Cableway, a core key project for creating a 5A level national tourist attraction in Yunhe Terrace, successfully completed its trial operation phase. The Yunhe Terrace Cloud Observation Cableway starts from the Terrace First Class Tourist Center (New), passes through the core scenic area of Xiayang Terrace, and finally reaches the Qixingdun Scenic Area in Meizhu Village. The total length is 3.88 kilometers, making it the longest cableway in East China to date. The elevation of the cableway ranges from over 200 meters to over 1000 meters, with a straight drop of about 800 meters and a total investment of about 123 million yuan. It uses imported core equipment. At present, the cableway has passed national testing and entered the trial operation stage, with plans to officially open to the public in April 2021. At that time, a three-dimensional transportation system for terraced scenic areas will be constructed to provide convenient passage for tourists. By overlooking the terraced fields from a high altitude, it will become a new highlight of the terraced land landscape network.
