Q: Culture is an important business card of a city. Ningbo is rich in cultural resources, but compared with similar cities, its cultural soft power is short-board. Therefore, the municipal party committee and government proposed to speed up the integration and development of “Hong Kong-made city culture”. What do you think of this? Next, what are the new plans of the cultural tourism department in this regard?
A: Culture is the most basic, profound and lasting force of a city, and it is also the spiritual home of a city. The municipal party congress proposed that the deep integration and development of Hong Kong-made urban culture put cultural construction to an unprecedented height. However, compared with Hong Kong’s production city, culture is still a relatively weak link, which needs to go up and down Qi Xin, make concerted efforts and make up for it.

In order to lengthen this short board, the cultural tourism department will focus on four aspects of work-
Construction of a number of major cultural landmark projects
Last August, the Cultural Work Conference of the Municipal Party Committee released ten cultural landmark projects. This year, we plan to fully promote the construction of the South Pavilion of Tianyige Museum, actively complete the project establishment of Hehai Museum and the new municipal cultural center, and promote the preliminary work of the municipal intangible cultural heritage museum, new concert hall and other projects in a classified way, so as to create urban cultural landmarks and create urban cultural gold business cards with high standards and high quality.
Increase the supply of a batch of high-quality culture.
We will continue to promote the improvement and expansion of public cultural services. Extend the opening hours of libraries and cultural centers and promote the opening of museums and art galleries at night.
We will intensify grassroots work under cultural resources, and send dramas, exhibitions and lectures to urban and rural communities. We will further promote the national art popularization project and provide high-quality and inclusive cultural and artistic services for the masses.
We will also increase the construction of public cultural space. This year, we plan to build 410 15-minute quality cultural life circles, adding 35 urban study rooms, 16 cultural stations and 32 rural museums, so that culture can be reached, felt and obtained in people’s lives, leading by culture and rich in spirit.
Protect and inherit a batch of core cultural heritage.
Focusing on the three core cultural relics of Hemudu, Jingtoushan and Grand Canal, we will strengthen the protection, excavation and inheritance, hold a series of commemorative activities for the 50th anniversary of Hemudu cultural discovery, promote the construction of Hemudu National Archaeological Site Park and Grand Canal National Cultural Park, prepare for the Hemudu Museum, and implement the second-phase excavation project of Jingtoushan Site, so that the cultural heritage written in books, hidden in museums and buried in the soil can be deeply integrated into the real life of ordinary people, and cultural self-confidence can be enhanced.
Transform and utilize a batch of excellent characteristic cultural resources.
This year, we will focus on a large number of outstanding historical and cultural resources, such as Haisi culture, Song Yun culture, book collection culture, Yangming culture and Anshi culture, study and decode cultural genes, tap the connotation of thick-planted culture, activate and utilize cultural forms, innovate and enrich communication methods, make culture alive and move, and make city soft power harder and stronger.
