In the men’s 10 kilometer swimming marathon of the Hangzhou Asian Games held on the morning of October 7th, the Chinese team won the championship and runner up. Zhang Ziyang and Lan Tianchen were evenly matched in the final moments. Zhang Ziyang won the championship with a time of 1 hour, 55 minutes, and 45.8 seconds. Lan Tianchen won the runner up with a time difference of 0.4 seconds, and South Korean player Park Jae hoon won the third place. Marathon swimming is a newly added event at the Asian Games, with both male and female gold medals won by Chinese athletes.
