The Xu ancestral temple with a long history.
Along the quiet ancient road, a few days ago, the reporter walked into Jianfeng Village, Lianhua Town, Qujiang District.
Jianfeng village is a provincial historical and cultural ancient village with a history of more than 1000 years. According to relevant historical records, the surname won in the Western Zhou Dynasty was named Xu because of the seal of Donghai County, a food city. It was spread to Yan Wang, and because of his wisdom and courage, he was good at giving benevolence and righteousness, and all the villagers were obedient. In the last few years, when the Queen Yan fled to the south of the Yangtze River, she went to Quzhou, looked around at the head of a stream, and saw that there was Zhixi on the left and Bijia Mountain on the right, surrounded by mountains and rivers, and the four orders were peaceful, so she settled down here.
The ancient ancestral hall tells the history of the village.
“According to historical records, the ancestor of Jianfeng Village was called Xu Duanqi, who came here to settle down more than 1,100 years ago. In the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, people built this ancestral hall to commemorate their ancestors. ” Standing in front of the Xu ancestral hall in the middle of the village, Dong Shengshui, secretary of the village party branch, introduced that Jianfeng Village is close to Zhixi. Because of frequent floods, later generations gradually moved to the shore, which has developed into an area of about 4..1 square kilometer village.
Xu’s first line farmed and worked in Jianfeng Village, stretching his children. Today, there are 2,763 people in Jianfeng Village, and the Xu family has more than 600 people, which is a big surname in the village.
On the gate of the Xu ancestral hall, the plaque with the words “Great Ancestral Hall” is hung in the middle, and red lanterns are hung on the left and right sides. This ancestral temple, rebuilt in 1709, has a total area of more than 700 square meters. Because of its exquisite materials, it is still intact even after more than 300 years, which makes people feel solemn.
Above the gate of Xu’s ancestral temple, there is also a plaque of “Seven Leaves Yanxiang” given by Qin. Regarding “Seven Leaves Yanxiang”, there is a story about filial piety in the village.
During the reign of Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty, the emperor decreed that those who saw their ancestors and fathers above and great-grandchildren below could be reported with a statement and rewarded after verification. In the seventh year of Jiaqing, the Ministry of Rites issued a decree to discuss: Xu Shuhuai, a resident of Xi ‘an County, Zhejiang Province, is 95 years old. He has seen seven generations and five generations living under one roof, so he should be asked to give satin and silver according to his age. It deserves a plaque, that is, the words “Seven Leaves Yanxiang” are given. “Seven Leaves” refers to seven generations, namely, ancestors, fathers, self, sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Time has passed, and the traditional virtues of respecting and loving the elderly are still circulating in Jianfeng Village. “There is a treasure in the family. There are 142 elderly people over 80 years old in our village, including 34 people over 90 years old. The oldest one just had a centenary birthday party.” Dong Shengshui said.
Not far from the Xu ancestral hall, there is another Yu ancestral hall in the village. According to legend, after Xu Duanqi moved in, the Yu family and Wang family moved into the village one after another.
Yu’s ancestral hall was founded in 1914. It was originally a school, and later it was changed to a ancestral hall. Compared with Xu’s ancestral hall, Yu’s ancestral hall only covers an area of more than 200 square meters, but all the sparrows and oxlegs in the ancestral hall are carved with figures, flowers and plants, which are very exquisite.
In recent years, Jianfeng Village has reused Yu’s ancestral hall and opened a rural revitalization lecture hall and a farmer’s bookstore. “We signed a research cooperation agreement with a travel agency before. When foreign students came to study in the village, they came here to cut paper, listen to old people telling stories and understand the past customs.” Dong Shengshui said.
Renovation and upgrading make the village look new.
When you arrive at Jianfeng Village, you can not only visit these two ancestral halls, but also visit the ancient streets and houses here.
The ancient street in Jianfeng village is about 1000 meters long, with ancient houses on one side and streams crossing the street on the other. Walking on the ancient street, listening to the stream, it is quiet and quiet, and the ancient houses echo it and have a unique flavor.
“This is the diversion of Zhixi and one of the two natural water systems in the village. The stream flows all the year round.” Dong Shengshui said that this quaint Jiangnan village used to be a famous pig-raising village. “In the past, every household in our village raised pigs, and more than 100 pigs were needed. After long-term pollution, this stream is not only turbid, but also often filled with a stream..Smell. It was only after the “Five Rivers Governing Together” that today’s landscape was left. “
There are more than 40 ancient dwellings in Jianfeng Village, some of which were built in the Qing Dynasty and some in the Republic of China. In the past, roofs of ancient houses were damaged and external walls fell off. Ancient buildings convey the most pristine traditional culture. How can we make the dilapidated old houses glow with “new life”?
This problem was solved in 2016 after Lianhua Town implemented the historical and cultural ancient village protection project.
“Through measures such as tile roof restoration and facade renovation, our old houses have a new look. In addition, we have also repaired more than 200 meters of ancient roads, and started from rectification, transformation, demolition and upgrading to create scenic villages. ” Dong Shengshui said that after the renovation and upgrading, the ancient dwellings were reborn and the village environment was qualitatively changed.
The 85-year-old Lai Lilong’s house in Jianfeng Village is located by the stream. It is an old building with a patio in the middle. “This is a house built by my grandfather, which has been counted for more than 100 years.” Lai Lilong enthusiastically introduced that in the past, he lived in this house with his father and brother, but now only he and his wife are left.
When the village unified the restoration and protection of the old house, the roof of Riley Long’s house was repaired again. “Before it rained, the place where the tiles were broken would leak, which was very damp. Not at all now, the house is very comfortable to live in. ” Lai Lilong said that not only the environment at home is comfortable, but also the environment at home has been completely changed. “In the past, there were open-air latrines in front of the house. Now there is a Little Square and a gazebo, which is very good.”
With the change of years, this ancient village with legends and stories has been transformed and upgraded several times, so that traditional culture and modern culture are intertwined here, which also promotes the development of rural tourism.
In recent years, the village has successively developed and excavated eight scenic spots, including Leigu Mountain, Shentong Temple, Laigong Mountain, Shangtan Weir, Fenglaidun, Jianfeng Datianfan, Shuibao Shuangfeng and Shuizhong Pier, so that tourists can not only feel the charm of ancient buildings, but also appreciate the beautiful scenery of mountains and rivers.
As Lai Lilong said, you can often see foreigners coming to play when you are sitting in front of your home.
Development is not limited to rural tourism.
When everyone was immersed in the impression that Jianfeng Village was just an ancient village, Jianfeng Village once again subverted this impression and developed agriculture with great prosperity.
Grapes, strawberries, blueberries … Today’s Jianfeng Village is wrapped in one agricultural sightseeing garden after another, which makes the fruits and vegetables fragrant all year round.
It is the season of blueberry harvest, and villagers are busy picking blueberries in Futian family farm in Jianfeng village. “The blueberry picking season is from April to August. Recently, 50 or 60 villagers have helped here every day.” Farmer Zhang Xiqun said that 350 acres of blueberries were planted on the farm, and the output reached more than 100,000 kilograms last year. In addition to selling blueberries, the farm also carried out picking tours to attract many tourists to punch in.
Distance farm.In the greenhouse not far away, villager Ke Xiaoyun is taking care of his own grapes. “Grapes will be on the market in a while. Last year, many people came to buy them, and this year’s grapes grow well.” Ke Xiaoyun has been planting grapes for nearly 10 years, and he is full of confidence in this year’s sales.
Dong Shengshui drives a car and shows everyone around the village. “Strawberries are planted in this shed. Now strawberries are out of season. They dug a small watermelon.” “There are grapes in this shed, and now many people are the variety of Qingwang.” Along the way, greenhouses for growing melons and fruits can be seen everywhere.
Speaking of the history of planting melons and fruits in the village, Dong Shengshui recalled it as early as 20 years ago. “At that time, a Jinhua came to the village to plant grapes. Seeing that he sold well, everyone followed suit.” Dong Shengshui said, but what really made the villagers start to let go of their hands and feet to grow melons and fruits benefited from the construction of the Lotus Village International Future Community.
In 2019, Lianhua Town set out to create an international future community of Lotus Village, and Jianfeng Village, surrounding Wutan Village and Xishanxia Village were classified as core areas, giving Jianfeng Village more development opportunities. “When tourists come to the future rural tourism, they will come to see our ancient villages and experience the picking tour, which forms a complementary advantage.” Dong Shengshui introduced that at present, the villagers have planted more than 500 acres of grapes and more than 300 acres of strawberries, and these incomes will be a large part of the villagers’ economic sources.
