Recently, the first batch of Hangzhou non-legacy theme tourism route selection experience activities sponsored by Hangzhou Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism Bureau came to an end. Feel the infinite charm of Hangzhou’s intangible cultural heritage at zero distance, and further promote the intangible cultural heritage. The organizer specially selected three intangible theme tourist routes from the selected routes for the first batch of experience activities. On May 28th, the first batch of 20 Hangzhou non-legacy theme tour route experience officers entered Yuhang to start a tour of Liangzhu culture and Jingshan tea culture.

Take a walk in Pingyao Old Street, Yuhang District, appreciate the style of the old street, personally experience the production of jade carving and cocoon flowers in Liangzhu, and lament the beauty of China folk art; Wander around Jingshan “Zen Village”, have a banquet of Jingshan Camellia and learn the skills of making matcha…….At the end of the day, the experience officials said that they were rich in content and gained a lot.
“Today, we have seen the remains of Liangzhu civilization 5,000 years ago, the elegant life of the Song Dynasty scholars 1,000 years ago, and the inheritance and development of ancient traditional skills by non-legacy craftsmen today, as if wandering in the long river of China’s history and culture.” Jiang Xiong, a native of Hangzhou who participated in the experience, said that the intangible cultural heritage distributed everywhere is like scattered pearls, and this experience has connected these pearls in series into a beautiful necklace, so that everyone can feel the charm of Hangzhou intangible cultural heritage more comprehensively and integrally.

Jiang Jiahong, the inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage (Liangzhu Jade Carving) in Yuhang District, also brought the intangible heritage into the campus, offering three classes a week to teach students the skills of making Liangzhu Jade Carving. “This is of great significance for strengthening the protection and inheritance of non-legacy crafts and promoting the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation.” Jiang Jiahong told the experience officer.

Through the design of intangible cultural heritage tourism routes, visitors can get close contact with intangible cultural heritage and experience it, which has a positive effect on the publicity and protection of intangible cultural heritage.

It is reported that the first batch of Hangzhou Intangible Theme Tourism Route Selection Experience Activities of “Enjoy a Leisure Tour in Hangzhou” was hosted by Hangzhou Culture, Radio, Film and Television Tourism Bureau. Since its launch in early April, it has received positive responses from the cultural and tourism departments of various districts and counties (cities) in Hangzhou. More than 50 intangible theme tourism route products have been collected, covering three major cultural heritages, including the West Lake, the Grand Canal and Liangzhu, including more than 160 intangible cultural heritage projects, including the human intangible cultural heritage project 1. After strict and meticulous evaluation by the expert evaluation team, 10 Hangzhou non-legacy theme tourist routes were finally selected.
