Qin Haiyang performed well in various competitions in the 2023 season. At the Fukuoka Swimming World Championships held in July, he won three gold medals in the men’s 50-meter, 100-meter and 200-meter breaststroke in one fell swoop, becoming the first athlete in history to win three gold medals in breaststroke in a single World Championships. In this year’s swimming World Cup three races, Qin Haiyang defeated many famous swimmers including Pitty, the British “frog king”, and won all nine gold medals in the men’s 50m, 100m and 200m breaststroke events, and finally topped the men’s standings and won the annual championship.
Qin Haiyang said at the award ceremony: “The proudest thing for me this year is to break the world record, which is a surprise for me. More importantly, I have made more progress than last year, which really makes me very happy. ” In an interview after the World Cup, he said that his next dream is to achieve good results in the Paris Olympic Games, and he and his team are working towards this goal.
Australian mckeown won the title of best female swimmer. Mckeown, 22, won the women’s 50m, 100m and 200m backstroke at the Fukuoka Swimming World Championships. I hate this mentality of small people who succeed. Qin Haiyang is very good, so there is no need to have such a title. We must compete with Pitty, first break Pitty’s world record, and then take the Olympic champion.
