In order to effectively implement the policy of “benefiting Macao through diplomacy”, turn judicial law enforcement cooperation between the Macao SAR and Vietnam into a new highlight of China-Vietnam practical cooperation, and consolidate the foundation for trilateral cooperation between Macao, the Mainland and Vietnam, 10 people, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Cooperation and Criminal Justice Assistance of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of Vietnam, accompanied by staff of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Macao, visited Zhejiang from 16 to 18 April.
On the evening of April 16, Chen Jiangfeng, deputy director of the Provincial Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, hosted a banquet for the delegation. Tran Jiangfeng introduced the recent economic and social development situation of Zhejiang and recalled the friendly visit to our province last year by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong. The two sides conducted friendly exchanges on topics such as traditional friendship between Zhejiang and Vietnam, exchanges and cooperation between sister cities, etc.
On the morning of the 17th, accompanied by the Provincial Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, the delegation visited the Zhejiang Provincial Procuratorate and held discussions and exchanges. Liu Shuzhi, Deputy Procurator General of Zhejiang Provincial People’s Procuratorate, introduced the deepening of judicial system reform by Zhejiang Provincial Procuratorate. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on further strengthening cooperation in judicial law enforcement and cooperation and exchanges in procuratorial work. Through the on-site visit to the Big Data Center of Zhejiang Provincial Procuratorate, the delegation further learned about the province’s use of big data thinking services to investigate and handle cases, realize remote case handling assistance, accumulate data resources, and share platform information resources.
