On April 16th, the District Bureau of Commerce, in collaboration with the Hangzhou Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Hangzhou Foreign Affairs Office, the Zhejiang Branch of China Export and Credit Insurance Corporation, and the District Foreign Exchange Management Bureau, organized a training session on foreign trade enterprise policy project application and RCEP policy interpretation for all foreign trade enterprises in the region. More than 152 people from 125 foreign trade enterprises in the region participated.
The complex and ever-changing international environment, as well as the impact of the epidemic, have brought many unstable factors to the development of foreign trade enterprises. Foreign trade enterprises are not afraid of difficulties, actively expanding the market, and overcoming difficulties; The district commerce bureau implements precise policies, optimizes services, and assists enterprises in enhancing exports. The purpose of this training activity is to guide enterprises to better understand the RCEP policy, help relevant units and enterprises to be familiar with the cumulative rules of origin of RCEP and the application procedures for Certificate of origin, so as to make full use of preferential tariff concessions for enterprises, improve international competitiveness and better maintain the Supply chain security of the industrial chain. Simultaneously carry out business training, promote and interpret policies, and guide enterprises to actively apply for special support projects; China Export&Credit Insurance Corporation has accurately entered into recent cases to enhance the awareness of overseas risk prevention for enterprises.
Zhang Xiaofen, Deputy Director of the District Bureau of Commerce, delivered a speech summarizing the overall foreign trade situation in the entire district and affirming the efforts and responsibilities of foreign trade enterprises. At the same time, she emphasized that she hopes that all enterprises can seize the opportunity, take this training as an opportunity, deeply explore favorable policies, fully utilize the dividends brought by RCEP, and maximize the effectiveness of RCEP. Next, the District Bureau of Commerce will collaborate with various departments and units to continue providing good services to foreign trade enterprises in the entire district. Since this year, the Lin’an District Bureau of Commerce has actively carried out the “three services” activity of “New Year appointment”, and achieved counter trend growth in foreign trade through a series of measures such as setting up special classes, door-to-door visits, organizing exhibitions, and holding training. From January to February, the total import and export volume of goods in the entire region reached 35%.5.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 46%.
Next, the district commerce bureau will continue to promote the three service activities, conduct in-depth visits and research, understand the true voice of enterprises, and use a combination of market expansion, risk prevention, and excellent service to help export enterprises enhance their core competitiveness. Collaborate with CCPIT, China Export and Credit Insurance Corporation, customs, banks and other institutions to conduct training and learning on RCEP tariff policies, customs certification services, overseas investment risks, digital exhibition platforms, and digital foreign trade. Guided by problems, providing precise services to foreign trade enterprises, actively coordinating the localization of customs service matters, solving practical difficulties for enterprises, and providing strong guarantees for the “stable growth” of foreign trade.
