On June 15th, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Zhejiang Provincial Market Supervision Administration jointly organized experts to review the Zhejiang local standard of “Technical Specification for Healthy Culture of Red Claw Crayfish” drafted by Zhejiang Freshwater Fisheries Research Institute. The evaluation committee consists of nine experts from Hangzhou Agricultural Technology Extension Center, Zhejiang Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Zhejiang Aquatic Technology Extension Station, Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences and other scientific research institutes, aquatic products extension departments and related enterprises. The review committee listened carefully to the reports and explanations of the main drafters of the standards of Freshwater Fisheries Institute on the compilation instructions and key issues in the standards, reviewed the materials submitted for review, and examined the contents of the standards sentence by sentence. After full discussion, it was considered that the standard of “Technical Specification for Healthy Culture of Red Claw Crawfish” was formulated based on the research, demonstration and popularization results of the main culture modes of red Claw Crawfish in our province, and its technical indicators were scientific and operable. The main technical contents have been verified in the main cultivation areas of our province, and can be implemented uniformly throughout the province, which has guiding significance for promoting the healthy development of the red crayfish industry, improving comprehensive benefits and promoting production and income increase. The experts at the meeting unanimously agreed to pass the standard examination and approval, and suggested that the drafting unit of the standard revise the standard according to the experts’ opinions, form a draft for approval as soon as possible, and report it to the Zhejiang Provincial Market Supervision Administration for approval and release after being audited by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
