The 11-day 2021 “Double Eleven” Shopping Carnival ended at 24: 00 on November 11th. It was learned from the Municipal Bureau of Commerce that according to the monitoring of the statistical analysis platform of Ningbo e-commerce data, from November 1 to 11 this year, the online retail sales in Ningbo was 20.07 billion yuan, and the retail volume was 282.418 million pieces, up 6.6% year-on-year, ranking third in Zhejiang Province.
Cixi City, Haishu District and Yinzhou District rank among the top three online retail sales in all districts and counties (cities), accounting for 64.7% in total; In terms of industries, clothing, household appliances and home improvement rank among the top three in Ningbo’s physical network retail sales; From the perspective of individual enterprises, the online retail sales of 18 enterprises, including Taiping Bird, Fangtai, GXG, Tangshi, Youngor and Deli, exceeded 100 million yuan, among which Taiping Bird Group continued to lead the Ningbo E-commerce Corps and achieved sales of 1.19 billion yuan through online channels.
Different from previous years, during this year’s “Double Eleven” period, Ningbo relied on digitalization, which led to changes in R&D, production, sales and service.
On the one hand, more and more e-commerce companies are involved in the field of live broadcast, which makes many factories go from “behind the scenes” to “in front of the stage”. The data shows that during the “Double Eleven” period, the online retail sales of goods that Ningbo participated in live broadcast reached 3.1 billion yuan, and the retail volume exceeded 16 million pieces. On the other hand, from “direct selling from the place of origin” to “live broadcasting from the warehouse”, new modes such as live broadcasting with goods are constantly driving the sales of agricultural products and helping rural revitalization.
According to statistics, the online sales of agricultural products in Ningbo during the “Double Eleven” period showed a rapid growth trend, with a year-on-year increase of 13.3%, ranking third in the province. The best sellers were fresh food, grain and oil seasoning and snack food.
According to the data of Ningbo cross-border e-commerce service platform, from 0: 00 on November 1 to 24: 00 on November 11, Ningbo Customs has inspected and released 13.02 million cross-border e-commerce parcels with a value of 3.18 billion yuan, ranking first in the country for five consecutive years.
Specifically, cross-border e-commerce retail imports in Ningbo are still dominated by beauty products, health care products, maternal and child products and food, accounting for nearly 70%.
