On January 19, the “Dazzling Array – Ancient and Modern Masters Calligraphy and Painting and Literary Elegant Play Exhibition” hosted by the Hsin Chong Museum and Hangzhou Celebrity Memorial Hall was launched at the Xinchang Museum. On the occasion of the Spring Festival, we present an artistic feast to everyone and benefit the general public and friends with generous gifts for the Chinese New Year.
This exhibition is divided into three units: “Book for Heart Painting”, “Painting Legend”, and “Cultural Leisure”, and displays more than 100 pieces of calligraphy and painting, letters, golden stone steles and elegant pieces from the collection of Xinchang Museum and Hangzhou Celebrity Memorial Hall, including 15 second-class cultural relics and 45 third-class cultural relics (sets), most of which are works of calligraphy and painting from the late Ming Dynasty to modern times. The authors include Dong Qichang, Zheng Xie, Zhu Yun, Shi Tao, Jin Nong, Weng Tongyong, Wu Changshuo, Huang Binhong, Qi Baishi, Qian Xiaotie, Zhang Daqian, Wang Fuchang, Zhao Zhiqian, etc., full of strong literati interest, artistic feelings and vitality.
The exhibition uses traditional Chinese red and beige as the main colors, and the overall style is festive and peaceful, elegant and atmospheric. For the first time, the poster wall adopts a progressive layered design, with carved partition doors and green bamboo arrangement, showing a delicate and elegant literary scene. The exhibition wall and hanging mantle are designed with famous calligraphy and paintings, and the space is cleverly divided in a zigzag way, with landscapes such as red plums, orchids, and solid wood flower stands, exuding an ancient, showy, refined and elegant atmosphere everywhere.
We are willing to borrow you to float for half a day, quietly observe Yazang, taste the interest, observe the spiritual world of celebrity Yashi, and get a noble artistic enjoyment. The exhibition runs until March 3. (Hsin Chong Museum)
