Recently, the Ministry of Commerce launched a pilot project to upgrade 11 pedestrian streets in China, among which Hangzhou Hubin Pedestrian Street was included in the first batch of pilot projects. Hubin Business Circle has 59 innovative retail formats, such as Box Horse Fresh Life, Weilai Automobile, LINEFRIENDS, Netease YEATION, Netease Koala, etc., and has fully landed e-commerce platforms and new offline retail experience stores for vertical e-commerce.
Speaking of this news, representative Qiu Guanghe believes that this new retail model, which is based on the Internet and deeply integrates online services, offline experience and modern logistics, is the future development trend and will appear more and more in our daily life.

Senma has been running on this road for many years. Since the development of e-commerce business in 2012, 22-year-old Senma, born out of the traditional clothing industry, has completed the “reverse growth” transformation. Last October, Senma’s first concept store in China was officially unveiled in Shanghai, setting a high-value “punch-in point” combined with online celebrity’s economy. This experiential concept store attracted a large number of young people.
In 2018, the retail sales of e-commerce terminals in Senma reached 7.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 52%. In the view of Qiu Guang and the representative, e-commerce is no longer as simple as an online sales platform. “E-commerce is responsible for the intelligent transformation of Senma. It is necessary to transform and upgrade e-commerce, from business modules to infrastructure platforms, so that e-commerce platforms will finally have the technology and ability to empower offline brands and mature brands.”

The reporter noted that a few days ago, the Ministry of Commerce and other 12 departments jointly issued the “Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Development of Platform Economy in Commodity Trading Markets”, demanding that we strive to cultivate a number of 100 billion-level commodity markets with better platform economy by 2020.
This year, Commissioner Xie Shuangcheng submitted a proposal to the General Assembly on vigorously developing the platform economy to boost new consumption. He suggested that the main platform enterprises of digital economy development should be further brought into play to improve the effective matching between supply and demand, and promote the upgrading of both ends of supply and demand. Promote the deep integration of digital economy and traditional industries, encourage consumer goods manufacturers to accelerate digital transformation, expand new channels, grasp the target market, attach importance to brand building, and discover and create new consumption needs; Deepen the reform of “running at most once”, simplify the examination and approval procedures related to new consumption of new platforms, change the thinking and methods of supervision, create a better development environment for them, and further promote the emergence of new business models and new formats of enterprises.
