The professional evaluation award emphasizes professionalism, and the public selection award compares popularity and influence, “said Luo Yonghua, the director of the Huangyan District Museum. The” Double Award “for the important archaeological discovery of Shabu Zhujialing kiln site in Zhejiang in 2019 is a recognition of its archaeological achievements and popularity.
The Zhujialing kiln site, which won two honors this time, is located about 1 kilometer south of Shabu Street, on the east slope of Hengshan on the south side of Zhujialing in Ersidu Village, Shabu Town. It is one of the seven protected points of Shabu celadon kiln site (group). The kiln site is about 500 meters long from east to west, 60 meters wide from north to south, and covers an area of about 30000 square meters. From the existing investigation, it can be seen that the Zhujialing kiln site is the largest and most abundant kiln site in the Shabu celadon kiln site group. The surface of the kiln site is piled up with a large amount of kiln furniture and porcelain fragments, which have a certain degree of ornamental value.
Does it sound very ‘tall’? Can citizens watch it up close? Luo Yonghua introduced that the celadon kiln site (group) in Shabu, Huangyan is still under archaeological excavation. After the completion of archaeological excavation work, Huangyan will build a site museum based on the archaeological excavation results and build an archaeological site park on this basis.
However, the Huangyan Museum has included many porcelain unearthed from Shabu Kiln, including the Song Shabu Kiln Shuangfeng Celadon Powder Box, which is a national first-class cultural relic, and the Northern Song Shabu Kiln Peony Pattern Celadon Kong Ming Bowl. Citizens interested in the archaeological achievements of Shabu Kiln can go to the Huangyan Museum to take a look first. Qiu Linmin
