This is a brilliant report card: 89 service teams have provided advice to more than 190 villages in 57 counties (urban areas), helped 56 villages to successfully create provincial 3A scenic villages, and the remaining villages successfully created provincial 2A or A level scenic villages. In the past two years, the service team of Zhejiang Tourism Vocational College has played a good role in the construction of “big gardens” in beautiful countryside and the development of cultural and tourism industries in the province. The vocational education classroom is located in the rural field, which further improves the social service ability of teachers and the social practice ability of students.
The attempt of Zhejiang Tourism Vocational College is only a microcosm of Zhejiang Province’s promotion of vocational education reform. In order to solve the difficulties of industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, Zhejiang has deepened the reform of “introducing enterprises into education” in recent years, and built an industry-university-research cooperation platform of “school-based, government-promoted, industry-led, enterprise participation, and common development” to promote industry-university-research cooperation and education.
Zhejiang implements vocational education group schooling, encourages the joint construction of shared vocational education groups or alliances, and realizes the in-depth integration and aggregation of high-quality vocational education resources. Zhejiang Vocational Education Group is led by Zhejiang State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, relying on Zhejiang Mechanical and Electrical Group, there are 5 educational units of Zhejiang Wanli Education Group, Zhejiang Mechanical and Electrical Vocational and Technical College, Zhejiang Economic Vocational and Technical College, Zhejiang Mechanical and Electrical Technician College and Zhejiang Construction Technician College, which is a large-scale close-knit vocational education group in Zhejiang. At present, the province has established more than 100 vocational education groups and formed close cooperation with nearly 7,000 enterprises.
To build a provincial-level “school-enterprise cooperation community” and build a base for the integration of industry and education, Zhejiang pays attention to innovating the form of school-enterprise cooperation. On the basis of previous order-based training, top post internship, joint construction of practical training bases, etc., enterprises are encouraged to participate more in school management and student training, and schools and enterprises jointly formulate teaching plans, jointly form teacher teams, share teaching resources, and jointly manage the quality of training. Relying on the supply and marketing cooperatives system, Zhejiang Vocational College of Economics and Trade provides talents, technology and projects, and county and city supply and marketing cooperatives provide venues and equipment, and has built a total of 7 public training bases in Hangzhou, Taizhou and other places, with “all-in-one” functions such as teacher training, scientific research cooperation, student internship practice, employment and entrepreneurship, and social services. In the past three years, it has accepted more than 1,000 students for internship practice, carried out 37 technical services, and assisted more than 10,000 people in agricultural training.
In view of the fact that Zhejiang’s small and medium-sized micro enterprises have a large number and a huge demand for technology, the province’s vocational colleges focus on enterprise technological transformation, industrial upgrading and achievement transformation, and provide enterprises with various forms of technical services. While serving the production and technological innovation of enterprises and promoting the transformation and upgrading of local economic industries, it also promotes the transformation of students from “school people” to “professional people”.
