On the morning of May 18th, Shao Gensong, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of Hangzhou Municipal Committee and director of the Citizens’ Bureau, Wang Dehao, a member of the Party Group of the Citizens’ Bureau and a second-level inspector, and his party investigated the standardized management of folk belief activity places in Linping District, accompanied by Yang Wenchuang, member of the Standing Committee of Linping District Committee and director of the United Front Work Department, and relevant leaders of the United Front Work Department of the District Committee (District People’s Bureau), Xingqiao Street and Nanyuan Street.
The research team visited Tangjiaxin Temple and Xiaochenghuang Temple successively, and learned about the management of folk belief venues in Linping District on the spot by listening to work reports, on-site observation and interactive answering questions.
Tangjia New Temple is one of the pilot projects of resource integration of “multi-temple integration and centralized resettlement” in Linping District. Through the merger and reconstruction of various works, a long-term, stable and effective management mechanism has been established. Xiaochenghuang Temple is a pilot project of standardization promotion in Linping District. By establishing and improving standardized construction standards and daily management and operation mechanism, the simultaneous improvement of software and hardware construction in the site is realized.
After listening to the report on the situation in Linping District, Shao Gensong fully affirmed the working experience and practices of Linping District Party Committee and District Government, which attached great importance to the management of folk belief venues, actively explored new ways of standardized management, and formed a new closed-loop work pattern with clear responsibilities, complete links and thorough implementation. The leading group for United Front Work issued a practical, simple and standardized Operation Manual for the Management of Folk Belief venues in Linping District. He spoke highly of the “eight haves” standardized construction standards, the “six ones” operation mechanism of daily management and the “three joint audits” approval mechanism in Linping District.
Shao Gensong emphasized that Linping District has formed vivid local experience in the standardized management of folk belief venues, and it is necessary to make further efforts in the direction of improving standards, perfecting mechanisms, standardizing operations and perfecting experiences. It is necessary to combine standardized management of venues with urbanization development, social governance and common prosperity, and strive to form a Linping model of standardized management of folk belief venues with “Linping pilot, city-wide demonstration and province-wide promotion”.
