On May 11th-12th, Professor Wu Zhenyu, Vice President of School of Mechanical Engineering, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, led technical experts in the fields of intelligent manufacturing, motor drive and control, and robotics to investigate and study in Jinyun County, and made suggestions for the technological innovation and industrial development of Jinyun enterprises.
Professor Wu and his party visited more than ten enterprises, such as Zhongbo Transmission, Huayang Racing, Xiangsimai, Golden Rod Sports and Olinfa Machine Tool, and exchanged views with the responsible persons and technicians on new product development, intelligent manufacturing, automatic transformation of production line and optimization of production technology, answered the technical questions raised by the technicians of the enterprises on the spot, and provided solutions, providing constructive suggestions for the innovative development of enterprises. During the investigation, Professor Wu found that as one of the main core industries of Jinyun, most of the main core technology control systems still rely on imports, and its independent research and development function is still relatively simple, and there is still much room for improvement in intelligence. On this issue, experts had in-depth exchanges with the responsible persons and technicians of relevant enterprises such as Olin Machine Tool, and the two sides reached a consensus on further cooperation.
Through this activity, the trust and understanding between schools and enterprises were enhanced, which laid a good foundation for Jinyun enterprises to further develop cooperation in Industry-University-Research in the future. After learning that Jinyun is the transfer payment point county of scientific and technological achievements in Zhejiang Province, Professor Wu said that he and his delegation will fully support the pilot work of Jinyun and will introduce the most advanced and most suitable technological achievements to enterprises, as long as enterprises have the need to actively help solve them.
