In order to further improve the traffic safety awareness of religious personnel and believers, and ensure the public’s life, health and safety, on November 30th, on the eve of the 10th National Traffic Safety Day, the Citizens’ Religious Affairs Bureau and the Traffic Police Bureau of the Municipal Public Security Bureau jointly held the launching ceremony of the traffic safety publicity action in Lingyin Temple, Hangzhou. Relevant persons in charge of the Civil Affairs Bureau, the Traffic Police Bureau of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, the president of the Municipal Buddhist Association and the abbot of Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou attended the ceremony. Nearly 30 people including representatives of the mage, representatives of believers, the US delegation and hungry takeaway riders attended the ceremony.
Tang Mingzhuang, deputy secretary and deputy director of the Party Committee of the Citizens’ Bureau, proposed that the majority of religious teachers and believers are all participants in urban traffic and builders of a safe Hangzhou. They should consciously abide by traffic safety laws and regulations, be participants, models and propagandists of civilized traffic, establish the consciousness of “civilized traffic, start with me”, drive in a civilized way, travel in a civilized way, and be polite and courteous, so as to create a safe and civilized traffic environment in Hangzhou and make contributions to the construction of a civilized city and the creation of peace.

The organizer presented safety helmets for electric bicycles to believers’ representatives and take-away riders.
