Time: July 13th to August 31st
Location: Jiaxing Museum, also a very “grounded” folk art, contains rich cultural heritage and historical value. Jiaxing Museum and Yangyali Museum in Ruian City jointly hold this exhibition, which is currently the only non-state-owned museum in Wenzhou area with the theme of collecting and displaying ancient tin artifacts. The exhibition spans over thousands of years, with exquisite shapes and diverse uses. Hundreds of pieces of tin ware run through various aspects of folk life. Every exquisite old tin ware from different historical periods tells us different historical and cultural stories.
The South Lake Forum entered the “Big Series” exhibition, and more than 1000 ancient Chinese paintings were displayed in an unprecedented clear and exquisite manner, which can be said to be a rare subculture feast in Jiaxing in the past century. This exhibition specifically features “Tianlai Pavilion in the Grand Series”, which tells the history of the collection of the Xiang Yuanbian family in Jiaxing. There are calligraphy and painting sections. The Nanhu Forum invites local calligraphy and painting masters to interpret the major series for readers at the exhibition site.
