The expansion and quality improvement of Shenxianju scenic spot is a microcosm of the “micro-transformation and fine improvement” action of Zhejiang’s tourism industry launched last year. The reporter learned from the Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Tourism Resources Development Work Conference and the Tourism “Micro Transformation and Fine Improvement” Promotion Conference held on February 27 that the Zhejiang cultural and tourism department further launched the “moon-making project” in view of the development reality of the 26 mountainous counties in the province, which means “stars holding the moon”, building core tourism attractions for mountainous counties, promoting the high-quality development of the local cultural tourism industry, and promoting common prosperity.
According to the plan, the “moon-making project” will “make blood” for the cultural tourism industry in 26 counties in mountainous areas of Zhejiang, and the total investment of the project will strive to exceed 391.8 billion yuan, and this year it is planned to complete the investment of more than 62.9 billion yuan. Each of the above 26 counties is required to have one 5A-level tourist attraction or national tourist resort; If not, start nurturing work. Zhejiang’s famous scenic spots such as Qiandao Lake in Chun’an, Jianglang Mountain in Jiangshan, Root Palace Buddha Kingdom in Kaihua, Xiandu in Jinyun, Tiantai Mountain in Tiantai and Shenxianju in Xianju will be further enhanced.
In order to narrow the gap between urban and rural areas and do a good job in the coordinated layout of cities, towns and villages, the Zhejiang cultural and tourism department will also implement the “star project” of scenic villages and the “common prosperity project” of rural tourism this year, focusing on building scenic cities, upgrading scenic towns, and iterating scenic villages, so as to achieve the coverage rate of scenic cities, scenic towns and scenic villages in the province exceeding 80%, 60% and 60% respectively.
