Recently, a training course on policies and regulations for ethnic and religious circles in Ninghai County was held at the County Socialist College. Ge Huanshan, Executive Vice Minister of the United Front Work Department of the County Party Committee, delivered a mobilization speech for the opening of the class. Zheng Shangkui, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department and Director of the Minzong Bureau, presided over the opening ceremony.
The meeting pointed out that strengthening the construction of representative personnel in the ethnic and religious fields is an important content of ethnic and religious work under the new situation. The meeting emphasized that all students can always adhere to the direction of Sinicization of religion, continuously enhance their political identity, cultural integration, and social adaptability; Able to hone the skills required by the new era, continuously improve political literacy, legal awareness, and personal morality; Being able to seize this learning opportunity, achieve thinking, achievement, and action in learning, continuously improve one’s own ideological and cognitive realm and professional knowledge level, and contribute more wisdom and strength to the construction of the “Double Excellence” New Ninghai and the creation of a leading county for the modernization of religious governance.
This training lasted for a total of two days, with specialized training on religious affairs laws and regulations, financial standardization of religious venues, ethnic and religious affairs in the Internet era, and sinicization of religion. It was both theoretical and practical, and received unanimous praise from the students. During the training, the students also went to the Red Revolution Education Base in Meihua Village and Xiafan Village to carry out a series of themed activities titled “Welcoming the 20th National Congress”.
More than 130 members of the County Ethnic Unity and Progress Promotion Association, responsible persons and teaching staff of Catholic and Christian places in the county, responsible persons and teaching staff of Buddhist places, united front committee members and religious administrators of various townships (streets), and all cadres of the County Religious Bureau participated in the training.
