The earliest “herbal pot” in China, the five generations of green glaze holding pots, and the first generation of small square listening to Putuo Buddha tea in the 1980s … Yesterday was International Museum Day, and a piece of exquisite “tea” cultural relics “appeared” in the special exhibition hall on the first floor of Zhoushan Museum, telling the story of Zhoushan’s “maritime tea town”.
It is understood that the theme of this year’s International Museum Day is “The Power of Museums”, which aims to emphasize that museums have the potential and ability to influence the human world and call on all walks of life to work together to build a better future for mankind.
The reporter learned from the Municipal Wenguang Tourism and Sports Bureau that there are 14 museums in the city. On the day of International Museum Day, many museums in our city held various theme activities, bringing rich cultural feasts to the masses.
In the shenjiamen Yudu Customs Exhibition Hall of Putuo District Museum, national food stamps with different shapes and rich patterns met with the public, awakening the spirit of thrift; Daishan County Museum Day brought a series of roving exhibitions of marine culture into the countryside and campus, and taught students how to make traditional fishermen’s crab cages.
The relevant person in charge of the Cultural Heritage Department of the Municipal Wenguang Tourism and Sports Bureau said that all kinds of lively and interesting museum day series activities can “live” the cultural relics collected in the museum, further stimulate the public service power of the museum, and enable more citizens to enter the museum and feel the historical and cultural connotation of the whole city.
