On July 17th, the “If I Come with Butterflies in Bloom-Butterfly Culture Exhibition” jointly organized by Xinchang Museum and Hangzhou Wetland Museum was held in Xinchang Museum, giving children a summer gift.
A total of more than 1,000 butterfly specimens, more than 20 moth specimens and 171 pieces (sets) of various folk products related to butterflies were exhibited in the exhibition, with the largest number of exhibits in history. Among them, the goddess of light, known as the most beautiful butterfly in the world, the largest butterfly with long sleeves in Africa, the king butterfly in Brazil, the monarch butterfly in the United States, and other special and precious groups, such as Yin and Yang butterflies and odd butterflies, have high ornamental value and popular science education value.
The whole exhibition adopts the forest green tone, so that the audience can feel a little coolness in the hot summer when they walk into the exhibition hall. The exhibition hall has specially set up a simulated butterfly tree, butterfly pendants and a dreamy photo background wall, so that the audience can participate in it and feel “immersive” and add interest to the exhibition.
Xinchang Museum specially launched a popular science exhibition in summer, hoping to let the audience learn popular science knowledge easily and happily in this “extended classroom” of the museum, thus stimulating everyone’s enthusiasm for learning science and loving nature. This summer vacation, let’s walk into Xinchang Museum and explore the colorful butterfly world. It will be extended to September 22nd, free of charge. (Xinchang Museum)
