Riding an electric bicycle is illegal, how terrifying is an accident? Recently, a reporter discovered in the bustling city of Hangzhou that in order to make illegal electric bicycle drivers truly remember, Hangzhou traffic police attempted to use “black technology” in warning education – allowing illegal drivers to experience accident scenes caused by dangerous driving behavior firsthand through VR technology. On the base, there is an electronic display screen standing at the rear of the car, and a VR eye mask is hung at the front of the car. After the R eye mask, you will be immersed in the visual scene of an electric bicycle traffic accident, and the display screen will also show the entire virtual accident process to bystanders from the perspective of the experimenter.
At 4:15 pm, the traffic police stopped an electric bicycle driver who ran a red light and invited him to participate in the VR experience. The driver sat on the device, wore VR goggles, and chose not to follow the traffic signal mode. More than ten seconds later, suddenly tilting with the car seat, followed by a shout of “Ah!” The reporter saw from the electronic display screen that the virtual scene was already a pool of blood
It’s too scary… “The driver took off his VR goggles and said seriously to the traffic police,” I will definitely abide by traffic safety regulations in the future
It is reported that since the VR “black technology” was launched on the roadside for two weeks, about 300 illegal electric bicycle drivers have participated in the experience.
The newly opened safety education base in the Shaoxing service area of the G92 Hangzhou Bay Ring Expressway (towards Ningbo) has attracted the attention of past drivers and passengers.
It is understood that the base is jointly built by units such as the Shaoxing Detachment of the High Speed Traffic Police, including themed scene VR simulators, and a science popularization area for handling car malfunctions and traffic accidents.
