“Wandering in Art-Exhibition of Mr. Zhu Han’s Legacy” was held in Zhu Lesan Art Museum a few days ago. There were 47 paintings and calligraphy works of Zhu Han, including 35 Chinese paintings and 12 calligraphy works, all of which were provided by Zhu Han’s family. The exhibition will last until June 28th.
Zhu Han (1929-2012) was born in Anji, Zhejiang Province. His father was Zhu Lesan, a famous master of calligraphy and painting in modern China. He studied under Mr. Wang Geyi, and later entered the Central Academy of Fine Arts and received strict training in western painting. He was instructed by his predecessors such as Huang Binhong, Pan Tianshou, Xu Beihong, Qi Baishi and Li Keran. He learned Ou Yangxun and Li Yong at first, then studied Zhong Ding and Shigu, and inherited and carried forward the style of poetry, calligraphy and printing of Xiling Printing Society. The deep affection for his hometown is the source of inspiration for his calligraphy and painting creation. “The home is windproof in ancient times, and bamboo is cultivated in the mountains.” It’s nice to live with this gentleman in Japan. ” It is Zhu Han’s testimony to his hometown feelings.
